Teachers’ experiences of using ICT in teaching practical skills in adult education

The aim of this research was to explore teachers’ experiences in using ICT (information and communication technology) as a pedagogical tool the subject areas craft education home economics Finnish AECs (Adult Education Centres). We focused on teaching practical skills these two subjects. Based sociocultural approach, were examined from perspective embodied, material social mediation. data gathered just before COVID-19 pandemic via an open online survey. There 34 respondents several parts country. analysed according three categories mediation revealing benefits restrictions ICT. Some teachers had experienced that utilising supported learning while others did not find it very useful.
